The Ministry of Defense is developing two types of robotic aircraft

Two types - a so-called target and a reconnaissance robotic aircraft - are currently being developed by one of the companies of the Ministry of Defense (HM), HM EI Zrt.

In response to a question from Socialist Representative Ferenc Juhász, the head of the ministry said that the target robotic aircraft could be used by the army for air defense shooting exercises, while the reconnaissance aircraft could be used in domestic and operational areas.

According to Csaba Hende, the regularization procedure of the target robotic aircraft is already in progress, when it will end - expected by 2013 - the licensing procedure of the other type may begin, he added.
