Kerio Mail Server - freedom of choice

Perhaps the most well-known mail system in the world is Microsoft Exchange. Many administrators will agree with us that it is an extremely configurable, scalable, stable and highly reliable email system. However, for this to be the case, there is an important condition, even if the software is set up by a competent professional. Of course, in a larger company, where they already work in a server environment, in addition to a Microsoft server environment, this is not a problem, as we can find a competent administrator everywhere.

However, the situation is different for small and medium-sized companies. Smaller companies very often do not have an administrator, smaller networks are often supervised by a colleague who, although minimally involved, makes up for the lack of a school with enthusiasm. In other cases, the company manager tries to perform administrative tasks, which is no better solution than the first one. There are also managers who realize that outside help is enough, so they entrust different companies with overseeing their systems.

The first two solutions cannot therefore be called secure, while the third cannot be called cheap or flexible.

Clumpy

So Microsoft offers a software solution for the task, but in order to use it, many conditions must be met. In the case of Microsoft, there will always be a big problem, even that they love having the entire software environment in their own development. Understandably, this way (roughly speaking) they can use tying with impunity, meaning that if they want to use one of their products, we will be forced to buy more of their products as well.

For example, Microsoft server software, along with Active Directory, is essential for Exchange to work. For the server software, you must acquire CALs, that is, user licenses, to use both the server and Exchange.

There is a solution

It’s a big change in a company’s life when they move to a system that offers group application sharing. Until then, everyone stores the mail on their own computer, records the dates of the appointments in their own calendar, and edits the list of contacts themselves.

However, the pursuit of efficient work today no longer allows for this luxury. Increasing efficiency is an important task, and there are solutions to this that create the opportunity to work together at low cost. If employees accept group application management and actively use it, it can also increase the efficiency of the company and thus its revenue. So the question is not whether to use a team-enabled application, but what to use!

Fortunately, there is also KMS, which is a worthy alternative to Microsoft's program, and it has many benefits that it doesn't have.

Let's see what they are!
