An affordable Toshiba tablet arrives

The Italians unveiled Toshbiba’s new tablet, the LT170, which runs Android and isn’t too expensive either.

If a product comes on the scene in another EU country, we don’t have to wait long for it to arrive. This will probably not be the case with the LT170 either, and the blue tablet will also adapt to Hungarian wallets. Inside there is a 1 GHz Freescale CPU, 512 MB RAM and 8 GB internal storage, of course there is also a microSD slot. The Lithium-Ion battery boasts in principle 7 hours of operation when watching video on it. Users have a look at the 0,3 megapixel optics, while the back panel has a 2 megapixel camera. As expected, we will not lack a WiFi module or Bluetooth 2.1 either. In addition to the hardware, we also get a cloud service, Toshiba Place includes music, videos, games and other things, although this may vary from country to country. The tablet, which will debut in Italy at the end of March, will cost € 299.
