Slim GTS 450 from Sparkle's workshop

The manufacturer has introduced another Geforce GTS 450 that requires much less space than the reference card.

Sparkle has pulled the cover off another Geforce GTS 450 video card, the uniqueness of which lies in its cooler, as it takes up one piece of card space unlike the reference solution. Beneath the fan are two heat pipes and an aluminum rib. One may rightly think that this may be due to subdued clocks, but this is not the case, because not only have the reference clocks not been reduced, but they have been exceeded, it is also true that they are only minimal. In concrete numbers, this means that the frequency of the GPU marked GF106 is only 6 MHz higher, making it 789 MHz. The frequency of the shaders has been raised to 13 MHz to 1.579 MHz, and the clock speed of 1 GB of GDDR5 memory has risen from 3.600 to 3.760 MHz.

The new Sparkle product is SXS4501024D5SNMS received an identification code. The data bus between the memory chips and the graphics processor is still 128-bit, and the GF106 still contains 192 active CUDA cores. The video outputs consist of two DVIs and one mini HDMI.
