Another Radeon 6850 from PowerColor

Powercolor delights customers with another Radeon 6850 called PCS +. Its appearance may be very familiar to some, as one has seen the light of day before similar product, but now the manufacturer has gone further in terms of clock signals, meaning the card has received more tuning. In addition, the fact that the customer can also find the full version of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 in the box is not a negligible factor.

The PCS +’s 6850 graphics processor ticks at 775 MHz instead of the reference 820, while the 1GB of GDDR5 memory runs at 4.000 MHz instead of 4.400. From the GPU, three heat pipes conduct heat to the ribs, and a 9 cm fan hides in the middle. This cooling solution is said to keep the card 15 percent cooler than the reference solution.
