No more bumps, tangles and intricacies: music lovers can finally get rid of the wires that have connected them to their iPods so far without having to give up great sound. The first wireless headphones for iPod® have arrived.

Logitech, a leading manufacturer of wireless peripherals for all platforms, today introduced the Logitech® Wireless Headphones for iPod. One just plugs in the wireless adapter, hangs up the iPod, and can move up to 10 meters away from it without missing a beat.

Thanks to wireless headphones, people are no longer connected to players and can finally say goodbye to a plethora of cables, ”said Ray Weikel, Product Marketing Director, Logitech Audio Business Unit. From now on, we don’t have to release the ear pads one at a time when we take the iPod out of our bag, and we don’t have to pay attention to the wires while enjoying the music. We believe that the new wireless headphones will bring a release experience to iPod users.

Logitech Wireless Headphones for iPod combine the benefits of Logitech's extensive experience in wireless technology, award-winning audio products, and groundbreaking design. The headphones have integrated iPod controls on the side, so volume, fast-forward, rewind, play, and playlist pauses can be done without touching your iPod in your closet, bag, or pocket. The headphones use high-quality Bluetooth® 1.2 wireless technology, which includes adaptive frequency switching. This guarantees interference-free, crystal-clear sound. 40mm full-range neodymium membranes provide rich audio and excellent bass performance.

Logitech Wireless Headphones for iPod are designed to fit securely and comfortably on your head. The headband behind the head is made of light, flexible and durable material, thanks to which the device can be used in almost any conditions. The headphones weigh just 90 grams, and the wireless adapter, which plugs into your iPod via a headphone jack, weighs just over 28 grams.

The headphones can be used with any iPod that has a dock connector on the bottom, and almost every model sold in the last two years has had one. The headphones are already paired with the adapters at the factory, so you can start using them with your iPod immediately after unpacking. These devices are also powered by rechargeable batteries, which allow you to listen to up to eight hours of music after a single charge. The product can be fully charged in 2 and a half hours. The adapter can be charged at the same time as the headphones using the included AC adapter, which has two connectors.

Logitech Wireless Headphones for iPod products are part of the “Made for iPod” program. “Made for iPod” means that the electrical device is specially made for iPod and is certified to meet the requirements set by Apple.
