Is the USB 3.0 standard ready?

Looks like we finally got on the ferry someday.

Thanks to the big ones - mostly Intel, AMD and NVIDIA - there has been a lot of discussion about rethinking one of the most defining connectivity standards of our time. However, today he made a point at the end of his tug of war with the official announcement of the THE USB Implementers Forum: USB 3.0 is born.

USB 3.0 standard is ready

What do we need to know broadly about the new standard? In line with the needs of our time, we can expect data transfers an order of magnitude faster - that is, the theoretical maximum bandwidth is now 4,8 Gbps. That means up to 25 seconds can be enough to transfer a 70GB file - compared to 2.0 minutes on USB 14 and 1.0 hours on 9,3. However, not everything is speed, accordingly, energy efficiency has been improved, and the use of optical cables can be considered standard from now on.
