The first tile manufactured at 9 nm was introduced
The new prototype promises a very nice future, but mass production is still a long way off.
In Taiwan, a microchip manufactured at the lowest bandwidth of all time was created by professionals using 9nm technology. Of course, this is not a mass-produced product, but an initial prototype. What engineers have revealed about the new chip is that it offers 20 times more capacity (with the same chip size) than its counterparts today (presumably thinking of the 34nm models here), and its power requirements will be only a fraction of a century. 1 cm2The novelty could store a million images or 100 hours of 3D movies.

With the new development, series production will certainly not start before 2015-2017. Incidentally, Intel will launch its 2011nm products next year, in 22.
