The 45-nanometer AMD Athlons arrive late
The three- and four-core models are delayed, the dual-core ones start on time.
X-bit labs believes the premiere of the three- (Rana) and quad-core (Propus) Athlon II processors in April it certainly no longer takes place; moreover, they are forced to suffer a delay of several months, their arrival can be made by the end of August, the beginning of September. In contrast, the dual-core Athlon II X2 (Regor) and Phenom II X2 CPUs, codenamed Callisto, arrive on time, in which case AMD can complete the June launch. It is worth noting here that Callisto is not a new development, such a CPU is born by disabling the two (faulty) cores of the Phenom II X4.
