Another barebone from Shuttle
Shuttle's latest product, the SG33G5, is strengthening the camp for compact, compact computers.
The Shuttle XPC Glamor Series SG33G5 comes equipped with the latest Intel technologies:
- Intel G33 Express Chipset, which also supports Intel CPUs with 45 nm and 1333 MHz FSB
- Intel GMA 3100 IGP with Intel Clear Video Technology for flawless image quality - HDMI output, knowledge of HDCP copy protection process
- Support for Intel Core 2 Quad, Intel Core 2 Duo, Intel Pentium E2000, Intel Celeron 400 processors
The motherboard, which features a selection of Japanese capacitors, can hold up to 4GB of DDR2 memory, including tuned 1066MHz modules, as well as a full-featured PCI Express x16 and a PCI slot. When it comes to connectivity, we can’t have a bad word, the list is extensive and caters to all needs: 1 × LAN, 2 × Firewire, 6 × USB 2.0, 3 × SATAII, 2 × eSATA.
The 8-channel integrated sound unit, of course, meets all surround standards, including Dolby Digital Live !, and DTS Connect. With a size of 310 × 200 × 185 mm, the barebone also includes a 250 watt power supply, but unfortunately we are not yet able to provide meaningful information on the price of the configuration.
