New Mac mini on the market
Although the new Mac has a similar design to the previous Mini, it outperforms it.
The new machine comes with an Intel processor, from which you can choose between the traditional and dual core versions. The single-core processor operates at 1,5 GHz, while the dual-core operates at 1,66 GHz, and both models have 2 MB of L4 cache. Apple has tested that the dual-core design is more than four times faster than its predecessor, the G512. The basic concept has 667 MB of 2 MHz RAM, which can be expanded up to XNUMX GB.
The display is provided by the Intel GMA950 graphics processor with 64 MB of memory, which you gain from sharing system memory.
The front panel includes 4 USB 2.0, a FireWire 400, a DVI and a gigabit network connector. Communication is also provided by built-in 54 Mbps WI-FI and Bluetooth.
In terms of storage, you can get 60 or 80 GB for your money, but you can also request a 100 or 120 GB hard drive.
Apple was not disappointed with the size of the device either, as it is only 5,08 × 16,51 × 16,51 cm and weighs 1,31 kg. Your Mac Mini comes with a power cord, installation DVDs, documentation, and a remote control.
