HP has announced two new portable workstations

Quadro and FireGL chips are working in the new notebooks.

With the HP Compaq 8510W Notebook, there are unlikely to be performance issues, as the Intel Core 2 Duo T7xxx processor, which is the soul of the machine, can hold up to 4 Gb of memory. It is displayed on a 15,4-inch 1920 × 1200 pixel display powered by an NVIDIA Quadro FX 570M 256MB or ATI Mobility FireGL V5600 256MB graphics chip. You can save your important data to a 120 GB hard disk with a parameter of 7200 rpm, or burn it to a dual-layer DVD or Blu-ray drive. And with the built-in wireless network controller and Bluetooth chip, you can share the most important details of the work in progress with your staff at any time.

Most of the features of the 8710W are the same as its lower numbered sibling, with the display increasing only the graphics system with a DirectX 10 compatible Quadro card.

The 8510W starts at $ 2 with a 2GHz processor, 120GB of memory, a Quadro card and a 2600GB hard drive, while the 8710W with a larger display but less mass storage without Bluetooth costs $ 2500.
