The Xbox 360 is selling well in Japan too!
The Xbox 360 is even for sale in the homeland of the PlayStation.
Although the following figures are for a very short period of time, they only include sales figures from two weeks ago, but these 7 days are still good to show how interest in consoles is developing in Japan:
- Nintendo DS Lite: 118 pcs
- Nintendo Wii: 65 pcs
- Sony PSP: 33 pcs
- PlayStation 2: 11 pcs
- PlayStation 3: 9481 pcs
- Xbox 360: 7583 pcs
- Game Boy Advance SP: 472 pcs
- Game Boy Micro: 371 pcs
While the PlayStation 3 continues to sell better than Microsoft's gaming machine, the difference isn't significant, largely due to the fact that the Xbox 360 is cheaper, and more importantly for a console, it's much better for gaming.
