Special releases from Quake III

Id Software is still working on new versions of Quake III Arena, which is still an essential accessory for multiparties.

At QuakeCon, John Carmack himself announced the welcome news that they are working on three types of Quake III Arena transcripts at once:

• the Xbox Live Arcade version is being prepared,
• A completely free web-based FPS called Quake Zero is also under development.
• and in the near future, the Nintendo DS handheld will also come with Quake III.
