Again, Intel will retire mobile chips

The company has already retired several desktop processors this week, and this time the list of chips for laptops has been trimmed thoroughly.

Although the full downsizing of the newly announced tiles is still a long way off, Intel has indicated that it is not worth taking these tiles more seriously, they are now out-of-date products and better products are coming in, not least, boosting sales of new products. either, but probably Sandy Bridge isn’t struggling with a lack of customers, at least according to the company’s statements.

Each of the retreating processors is part of the previous generation of Core product range, and since members of the family using the latest architecture are constantly arriving to understand the quasi-replacement, no special explanation is needed, as the Sandy Bridge structure is much more favorable in this segment. The retired processors are i5-560M, i5-560UM, i5-580M, i7-640M, i7-660LM, i7-680UM, i7-840QM, i7-740QM and i7-940XM. So there will be a total of nine less mobile chips, three of which are Core i5 and six which are Core i7 products, including the 45nm peak predator, six Arrandale made at 32nm. Among them, the supply will be more modest with several energy-saving solutions.
