The Commodore 64 remake is made with ION

The Commodore crease stitching announced in August isn’t over yet, but we can finally see what the structure will look like.

Unfortunately, nostalgicists will have to wait until next year to release, but you may already know that a 1,8GHz Atom D525 dual-core processor, ION 2 GPU, 2/4GB RAM and up to a 1TB hard drive may be included. You can also choose from DVD or Blu-ray optical drives.

The "new" Commodore 64 also has 802/11n WiFi, a card reader, D-Sub, DVI and HDMI outputs. The machine will have a Workbench 5 operating system and a C64 emulator. It is questionable how many buyers there will be for the device, but it is certain that your ancestors would have envied the hardware selection.
