Intel Core 2 Quadro (Kentsfield) information

Let’s continue the news series with four cores again, but this time it’s about the Kentsfield core for desktops.

It is already clear from the title of our news that the new processor will enter the CPU market under the name Intel Core 2 Quadro. At Intel, they do everything they can to bless the four-core goods to amass AMD’s solutions. Perhaps this is due to the fact that the bus speed will increase from the currently used (Intel Core 2 Duo) 266 MHz to 333 MHz, so the FSB will be 1333 MHz, while the size of the second-level cache will be expanded to 8 MB.
