Infinity Ward on the verge of collapse?

The situation of the famous developer is not very rosy.

Call of Duty Series, Modern Warfare 1-2. These are names that are known almost all over the world. Infinity Ward, the developer of the absolutely successful titles, now looks in a lot of trouble, as its mustache has clashed badly with its publisher, Activision.

The story began when Activision fired two Infinity Ward executives, Jason West and Vince Zampella. The two gentlemen then sued the publisher, extorting $ 36 million in damages. Activision then thought it was his turn now and sued the two ex-bosses for delaying the development of Modern Warfare 3 and trying to abuse Activision’s “values”.

After what happened at Infinity Ward, nothing is what it used to be. Instead of working on Part 3 of the successful and money-making Modern Warfare series, more and more people are filing their resignations at the company to justify it to a team called “Respawn,” founded by two ex-leaders, Zampbella and West.

The assumption that Infinity Ward is already dead and more and more employees are leaving their current job there has been virtually confirmed by Dan Amrich, Community Manager at Activision, in his answer to this question:
“More people are likely to leave,” he said.

How bad is the situation really with the Infinity Ward team? What was going on in the background to make things worse so far? What will be the fate of the famous development team? Well, these are all questions that have no answer yet.
