Intel will stop production of the obsolete Celeron processor

Intel is getting rid of its aging processor.

In the age of central units with 45-nanometer manufacturing technology, the 90nm single-core Celeron D 326, which is already considered very obsolete, will soon retire. The 2,53 GHz Prescott core CPU with 256 KB of second-level cache, 84 W maximum TDP will be available until March 2010, 12, and will be discontinued on September 2010, 10.
