CeBIT 2009: Wireless LCD display from ASUS workshop

The unit, which is still in the prototype stage, could be a forerunner in the near future.

In terms of the specification of the 24-inch widescreen unit, it offers nothing extra: 1920 × 1080 pixel resolution, contrast ratio to 3000: 1, 5ms response time, just to name the most important features. However, there is a special feature, namely the existence of a wireless USB connection, at least according to the data sheet, this is also included in the device. Although it is not known exactly whether the interface has only an ancillary role, or through which data is transferred to the computer, it is certain that the solution reaches the monitor wirelessly through some solution. The most likely seems to be to try out currently available technologies in practice, as many competing standards are struggling for dominance in wireless video and audio transmission.
