The i-mate K-JAM has also been officially unveiled
The i-mate has unveiled its latest PDA phone called the K-JAM.
K-JAM is one of the first PDA phones with a landscape mode keyboard to run Windows Mobile 5.0. The downside is the TI OMAP 850 processor, which only runs at 200 MHz; this is appreciated by the battery, but not by CPU-intensive applications and games. Key features of the phone:
- TI OMAP 850 - 200 MHz processor
- Quad-band (850/900/1800/1900) GSM / GPRS / EDGE phone
- 64 MB RAM
- 128 MB ROM
- QVGA (240 × 320) resolution screen
- Bluetooth, Infrared connector
- WLAN b / g, e / i will be supported in a later update
- 1.3 MPixel digital camera
- Built-in thumb keyboard
- miniSD card slot (unfortunately, there is no "traditional" SD card slot)
- Windows Mobile 5.0 Phone Edition operating system
We don't have information about the expected appearance and price yet.
