Hypernet 84: Telenor further accelerates
Telenor's network is constantly evolving: the nominal maximum download speed of 60 Mbps is already available in 84 settlements!
During the year, Hipernet 84 will be available in more and more areas of Hungary: Szombathely, Kazincbarcika, Sárospatak, Keszthely, Balatonfüred, Jászberény, Kalocsa, Szentes, Veszprém, Nagykőrös, Hévíz, Venice and other cities, Telenor will also introduce the new service in such settlements, where high bandwidth is not currently available with wired technology. According to Telenor Hungary, the introduction of Hipernet 84 could improve the information and economic opportunities of rural residents who previously had little or no access to the Internet. At the same time, the mobile operator draws attention to the fact that special taxes levied on the telecommunications sector, which have been imposed several times in parallel, are jeopardizing the further realization of such investments, even though mobile broadband penetration plays a key role in creating jobs and new businesses. through all this in revitalizing the rural economy.
The latest element of Telenor's Hungary's mobile Internet offering is, among other things, suitable for HD-quality video conferencing, the transmission of large graphic files, and the remote management of extensive databases, as it also allows you to work with giant files. Using popular cloud services will also become faster and more convenient with the Hipernet 84. The mobile operator expects that as a result of the development, more and more users of computer games will use the new Hipernet package, as fast response time is also important for them in addition to the exceptionally high bandwidth.

Thanks to this, more and more people across the country have access to mobile internet for even faster data transfer, with which they can enjoy entertainment content without any problems: they can download music and videos in high quality quickly and easily, or even feel free to try their hand at online games. To do this, we have increased not only the speed of Hipernet, but also the downloadable data traffic. - said Zsolt Sepsi, Telenor's Deputy Chief Technical Officer.
In addition to the Hipernet 84 package, Telenor also provides a modem that is compatible with technology that provides a nominal maximum download speed of 84 Mbps. This device automatically switches back to the maximum bandwidth available in that region, in areas where a nominal download speed of 84 Mbps is not yet available. Hipernet 84, like all Hipernet packages, enables unlimited e-mail and browsing domestically with two years of loyalty. In addition to bandwidth, the service provider has doubled the traffic limit for other services compared to the Hipernet 42 offer, so users have 40 GB of data traffic per month. Where available, Hipernet 84 is available at Hipernet 42 package rates.
