Weekend issue: laptops

One of the main factors when buying a new laptop is its size.

We are applying for the third time with our so-called weekend question section. Who might have missed it: every weekend we turn to our visitors with a question, who would ideally honor us with their posts, so the conversation on that topic can start. Last week we dug into the world of desktop PCs, but now we’re paddling into completely different waters.

What is the ideal laptop? 

Before buying a laptop, we need to decide what tasks we want the machine to perform. Also important is the extent to which we reap the benefits of portability. For example, an 11-inch netbook can be a great partner if you travel often, but it’s good to have a desktop computer at home as well. A slightly larger laptop can be the golden mean, which already holds its place during smaller or larger jobs, but its transport does not yet cause scoliosis.
