Climbing equipment from Scythe and other curiosities

Four products, three different tasks. First, let’s talk about the prop that inspired the title. This miracle called Ninja Wire is nothing more than a piece of steel wire - a thin wire, of course - that we can use to attach heavier heat sinks. The climbing came from the shades on the box, forming a climber with a pickaxe - or whatever - with a wire hanging at the end.

The tool is easy to use. We thread the wire through the heat sink, hook the hooks at the end of the wire somewhere in the top of the housing, and hipp-hop, the motherboard no longer has to support the weight of the rib. For those who kick or drag their machines a lot, it is recommended to buy them.

The second device is not new either, but it has only recently arrived in Hungary. This is a hard drive mount that allows you to mount your storage devices in place of the optical drives. The stuff is neither revolutionary nor interesting, but all the more useful when we run out of 3,5-inch slots on the machine. The package includes two metal plates and four rubber mounts, and of course the necessary screws. The word rubber muck immediately reveals that it also absorbs the vibrations of the hard drives, not transferring them to the metal parts of the housing.

The third, more specifically the third and fourth packages contain heat sink fasteners that have already been described. Why are they here anyway? Well, this will be interesting and important information. Neither the distributor nor us had any idea what the good thing would be that the press-bounce (in my case this is the name of the Intel recorder) was not fixed, but slipped in a small nut. Back then, we presented these clamps as clamps for the LGA 1366 socket, but in the meantime, it turned out that it wouldn’t just be good for that.

In the innermost position to LGA 775, in the outermost position to LGA 1366, and now the point comes, so I highlight, can be used for LGA 1156 sockets in the middle. Sure, it’s no mistake it can be used for the new Core i-5 and later the Core i7 800 series. This is certainly very good news, as with the arrival of new processors, one of the biggest tasks is finding the right cooling. Well, this problem is solved, we can check it out.
