Metallic novelty in Samsung's product range

The ancestor of the folding mobile phone market has come up with another device.

The SCH-W860 may be the first to appear in SK Telecom's offer, but later the model will be able to enter the market in Europe with a slightly different designation - and with a little luck, of course. There would certainly be a demand for it, as in addition to today’s multimedia monsters with huge displays, fewer and fewer devices are coming out that would provide the most basic features you would expect from a mobile phone in a compact, sophisticated exterior. The SCH-W860, on the other hand, is just such a device: according to a proven recipe, some parts of the housing have been made of metal, for example the exterior surface has been given a brushed aluminum cover. The display doesn’t break into the laurels of the top mounts this time around, but with its 2,2-inch size and QVGA resolution, there’s no reason to be ashamed. We also get two from a camera this time; the optics used for video telephony have a resolution of 640 × 480 pixels and the primary sensor is capable of capturing 2 megapixel images. Supported technologies include HSDPA as well as Bluetooth, as well as expanding the amount of memory with a microSD card.
