Climbing equipment from Scythe and other curiosities

We talked a lot with Scythe’s domestic distributor about what we should be writing about like this at the end of the summer. Unfortunately, no significant news has arrived, and what has arrived, namely housing and power supplies, we have already written a report.

Well, luckily it turned out that there would be only minor novelties or things that we had already written about, but in the meantime, their interesting abilities came to light. So this article will really be nothing more than a few sentences or lots and lots of pictures to illustrate the diversity of Scythe products.

Let's cut into it!

Fans

The current package includes two fans, which is no wonder, as we love Scythe the most because of its cooling. The miracles, dubbed KAZE-Jyuni, are 12 centimeters long and come in two versions. The variants, of course, differ in speed, but also in sound and in the amount of air delivered.

The slower one makes 800 revolutions per minute, while it moves 19,4 cubic feet of air, and 19,53 dBA loads our ears during the stunt. The faster fan speed produces 1200, 24,03 cubic feet of air, and produces 21,71 dBA of noise.

The bottom line, however, is that these fans are slim in design, meaning they are thinner than usual. This thinness in our case means 12 millimeters, which is half the usual thickness. Another interesting piece of information is that Scythe is planning additional tasks for the fans, as these air vents will also work on their soon-to-be-introduced VGA cooling.

A new, yet old visitor came to us in the person of Ninja 2. The reason for the arrival was that a letter B appeared next to the name on the box, meaning it was a new version. How is it different from the old one? Essentially nothing, just the clamp. However, this small difference is significant, as thanks to the new clamp, the cooler can now also be used on the new LGA 1156 processors, meaning the Core i5 can come! Luckily, it came, so we also fired up the new Ninja in our upcoming test.
