AMD has introduced six new processors
The manufacturer's offer has been expanded with energy-saving models.
Following yesterday’s price cut, 6 new processor models have also been unveiled under the AMD logo, extending the single-core Sempron and Athlon series to expand the dual-core Athlon X2 family.
65nm 4400+ with just 45W TDP
The Athlon X2 BE-2400 CPU pictured is the most expensive novelty, with $ 108 for a new dual-core CPU for a thousand-piece order. Each of the remaining five models has a core, and order prices are accordingly well below the dual-core sister’s $ 100 price:
- AMD Athlon LE-1620 (2,4 GHz / 45 W): $ 53
- AMD Athlon LE-1600 (2,2 GHz / 45 W): $ 47
- AMD Sempron LE-1250 (2,2 GHz / 45 W): $ 53
- AMD Sempron LE-1200 (2,1 GHz / 45 W): $ 48
- AMD Sempron LE-1100 (1,9 GHz / 45 W): $ 37
