Perhaps the most interesting news of the week appeared on Portfolió.hu. We can say it's funny, but the buyer, Laszlo Hanyecz, certainly doesn't slap his knee while laughing.
The story is not very complicated. The buyer, Laszlo Hanyecz, who lives in the USA, bought pizza for Bitcoin 3 years ago. Back then, it could have been a good deal to release 10 Bitcoins for the two pizzas, but that doesn’t seem like a big investment in retrospect. In the meantime, the price of Bitcoin has risen sharply, and 10 virtual currencies are currently worth nearly $ 9 million. This is not much less than HUF 2 billion. One billion per pizza.
