Flexible display from Nokia

Nokia has introduced a device with a flexible OLED display.

As we have reported in several news stories, Nokia has now held its usual annual event. Of course, the highlight of the event was the Windows Phone 7 devices, but the manufacturer also tried to dazzle the high-profile with other novelties. One of these was a phone with a flexible OLED display.

As you can see from the video, the mobile can also be operated by bending the display, which allows it to be used in gloves, which is not possible with a traditional capacitive touchscreen. First impressions are very good about the novelty. Experience has shown that the display has an unprecedented viewing angle and a beautiful, contrasting image. Of course, the technology also has its drawbacks, as we can practically only use the device with both hands. According to the news, Nokia does not plan to produce a phone with such a display yet.
