Three musketeers for stereo experiences

Creative is preparing for the festive season with two-channel speakers.

Although the majority of users prefer multi-channel sound at the end of 2007, a quality stereo sound system may be a better choice for individuals with less sophisticated ears and smaller spaces. We would not necessarily claim that Creative's new products provide the necessary quality, however, if we are planning to buy such small speakers, we should rather choose the manufacturer's products than the nearest economical "beep".

First up here is the GigaWorks HD50, which most of all wants to take the look of customers with their looks. The combined effect of white and silver gives the HD50 a real high-tech look, and this feeling is further enhanced by the fact that titanium has been chosen by the manufacturer as the sound-producing material. While the 14,1cm high speakers wouldn't look like much bass, Creative says the HDX shouldn't be a shame in this area either, thanks to BasXPort technology.

The mid-ranger is no longer as attractive as its titan brother, but the design of the speakers is completely different from the one seen on the HD 50. Creative is the so-called He built the T40 based on the MTM layout, which, if we want to describe it briefly, means "deep-middle-high-deep-middle" construction. Thanks to the design, we can have a clearer, more complete stereo experience, which is accompanied by sufficiently strong bass. The real power of the speakers is 14 W, which is not exactly a lot, but it can be enough for average use.

Finally, here’s the cheapest model, the T10, which is the smallest not only in size but also in musical performance. The RMS value has been reduced to 5 W, we can only rely on the relatively large deep-middle membrane. In this case, too, the BasXPort technology is responsible for emphasizing the bass.

Two of the three new speakers - the HD50 and T40 - can be purchased for the same price ($ 150), while the youngest brother is asked for $ 50 at store checkouts.
