The new Windows is ready for production

Soon, major vendors will also receive the final code for the new operating system.

Microsoft announced yesterday that they have completed the final code for Windows Home Server. The RTM version of the software, also known as the home server operating system, will be available from Microsoft's major OEM partners in the coming weeks. Distribution of the very first products equipped with the WHS system will only start in September, for the time being only in English. The German, French and Spanish versions still have to wait, the Hungarian translation seems to remain a dream.
