GFI Software is further expanding its security product offering with the acquisition of Sunbelt Software.

GFI Software, a market-leading provider of IT security solutions for small and medium-sized businesses, announced yesterday that it has acquired Sunbelt Software and the VIPRE product suite they have developed. The acquisition will allow GFI to use VIPRE technology in the development of GFI email and web security solutions. This allows GFI to enter the market with new security products with a world-class technological background.
