Samsung has unveiled its key products planned for 2007.

Printers, multifunction devices in 2007

The company is determined to be a market leader in printers. Based on last year’s data, it has every chance of doing so, as its leader in the mono multifunctional market with a 38% share, but also its traditional mono and color devices, quickly won the favor of customers.

Samsung will enter the color multifunctional market in the first half of this year with two new handsets. As the smallest color laser multifunction in its category, the CLX-2160N is ideal for both personal and small office use, and the CLX-3160FN color multifunction laser meets a wide variety of office needs.

The CLX-2160N is the latest product in the 2007 product range. The color multifunction laser device prints, scans and photocopies, all in color and with minimal space requirements. As the world's smallest and lightest color laser multifunction, the CLX-2160N is perfect for any office. With a space-saving printer, you can copy ID cards at the touch of a button, with unique toner for up to 2000 black and 1000 color pages.

The CLX-3160FN, which won an award at CES 2007, prints and copies 4 color and 16 mono pages per minute, scans at 4800 × 4800 dpi, has 4 MB of fax memory for 200 speed dials, and has a built-in modem of 33,6 Kbps. Thanks to NO-NOIS technology, the revolutionary, easy-to-use toners of this incredibly quiet device can be replaced in one go, and the device's program constantly informs you about their charge. You can print without a computer, as PictBridge and USB Direct Printing allow you to print from a USB storage device, memory card or digital camera. You do not need a computer to scan either, because the saved material can be transferred to a USB drive at any time.

In 2007, Samsung's range of color laser printers will be further expanded. The uniquely small footprint of the CLP-300N, which debuted last year, makes it a friendly co-worker on even the smallest desk. A novelty compared to its predecessor, the CLP-300, is the built-in network printing function, which further enhances its usability. It’s important to mention that all Samsung color laser devices use custom color toners developed by the company that can be replaced in a single small motion. It is also thanks to the new cylindrical toners that the size of the devices has been further reduced.

Monitors in 2007

Among Samsung monitors, domestic consumers are already familiar with Vista-ready monitors developed for Microsoft's latest operating system, including the 206BW. In addition, the extremely stylish 961BF and the 225UW with multimedia capabilities and a built-in camera could be this year's hit. Another real novelty is the 940UX, which is the first monitor on the market that can also be connected via USB.

With the introduction of Vista in February 2007 and the proliferation of widescreen content, there is a growing demand for widescreen monitors. The SyncMaster 206BW has a 20 ”1680 × 1050 resolution and 16:10 aspect ratio that meets the basic requirements of Vista. The 206BW's 3000: 1 contrast ratio accurately displays Vista's translucent windows, all surfaces look perfectly sharp, and the wide design also fits comfortably on Vista's Sidebar.

Samsung considers not only technology and device knowledge important, but also appearance. The appearance of products is on a par with usability, as consumers are increasingly design-consciously choosing computing peripherals as well. One of the outstanding creations of this endeavor is the stunningly elegant SyncMaster 961BF LCD monitor. The high glossy black glossy lacquer coating and the multi-point bendable handle make the monitor a wedge of the desk, while not compromising on functionality either. The 19 ”diameter, dynamic 3000: 1 contrast, 300 cd / m2 brightness and pivot screen are both valuable features, but the 961BF provides it all.

The also high glossy black glossy lacquered coating surrounds a 22 ”diameter LCD screen. 700: 1 has a contrast ratio of 300 cd / m2 brightness and a maximum resolution of 1620 × 1050 pixels. What makes the monitor really unique is the built-in 2-megapixel webcam and the pair of microphones that sit next to it on two sides. This way, users who frequently chat or video conference don’t have to buy an external camera and microphone.

The 19 ”monitor has a resolution of 1280 × 1024 and the driver software built into the monitor is automatically installed via USB, so users will not experience any inconvenience when using the display. Optical drives, hard drives in 2007

Samsung was a leader in the development process that led to the advent of Blu-ray drives. It is memorable that Samsung was the first in Hungary to introduce a mass-produced Blu-ray player. The result of this process is the company’s new Blu-ray burner. The exact time of launch of the drive is not yet known.

The company is also a leading innovation player in the storage segment. The latest SpinPoint hard drive series was soon popular with consumers, as their quiet operation is accompanied by low operating temperatures. Thanks to the SATA interface, you can't complain about speed, so Samsung's hard drives are perfect for home, entertainment, office and mobile computers. In addition, the company's backlogs have an excellent price / value ratio, so they can reach all consumers.
