Logitech has updated its network media player

The Squeezebox Touch amplifies with a touch-sensitive display.

With the spread of wireless technologies, the market for network players has also started to grow significantly: due to the intensifying competition, Logitech cannot sit on its laurels either, so the Squeezebox series has also undergone mandatory crease stitching. The redesign also brought a striking change this time around, as the Squezeebox Touch received a huge 4,3-inch display. The panel is, of course, touch-sensitive, so by integrating the device with a more modern look, even the handling of the device has been significantly simplified. In addition to audio outputs and an Ethernet port, Logitech engineers have added a USB port and an SDHC memory card slot to the device: the latter two solutions allow the device to play multimedia files from portable drives.
