The GeForce 320.18 WHQL driver is ready

According to NVIDIA, this driver is an important update for gamers. The WHQL-certified drive can bring up to a 20% increase in performance during the new Tomb Raider game, and under ideal conditions, a similar level of acceleration is expected during DiRT Showdown. Measurements show that the pace of Metro: Last Light has improved somewhat more modestly (10 percent), and Assassin’s Creed III, Far Cry 3, and BioShock Infinite may already show “only” 8, 6, and 5 percent speed increases.

GeForce 320.18 includes WHQL SLI profiles for Call of Juarez: Gunslinger, Dead Island: Riptide, Dungeons & Dragons: Neverwinter, Euro Truck Simulator 2, Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon, GRID 2 and Remember Me, and the existing profile updated for Natural Selection 2, Resident Evil 6, and TrackMania 2 Canyon.

Another interesting feature is that the driver is GeForce Experience software version 1.5 was also included. The aforementioned application automatically maps the hardware and software environment and then adjusts the graphics quality of the games accordingly. 

In addition to the games named above, the Greens have made progress on a number of other titles. It is important to note that the measurements made by NVIDIA serve as a kind of guideline, there is no guarantee that we will see a similar end result. The optimizations affect all GeForce GTX cards.

A GeForce 320.18 WHQL driver can be used from the GeForce 8 series graphics card, and the list of supported operating systems starts from Windows XP.
