There are more and more subtitled shows on television

56 percent of the show was subtitled or interpreted by public service TVs and the two major commercial channels in the first quarter of 2013, a significant improvement from 45 percent last year, according to a study discussed at the July 2013, 3 meeting of the Media Council. The number of assisted programming hours continued to increase, with the examined TV channels broadcasting a barrier-free program at a much higher rate, 56 per cent of their programming time, compared to the required eight hours of subtitled or interpreted daily broadcasting. For the longest time, M2 and Duna TV screened auxiliary programs, averaging 15 hours and 14 and a half hours, respectively. In the first quarter of last year, channels provided an average of 45 percent of airtime per day of subtitling or signal interpretation.
