AMD appears to have begun testing the chips, with Picasso already unveiled in the UserBenchmark database with the ID “15D8”. The chip could be born from an upgrade to Raven Ridge, so it could definitely increase performance and energy efficiency somewhat, but dramatically probably not. The developers are planning the future as we saw it during Trinity (A10-5800K) and Richland (A10-6800K), as here, too, there was essentially a crease stitching. In terms of the features and pace offered by Raven Ridge, this isn’t really a big surprise, as the integrated graphics processor handles even the most advanced games, and the Zen cores perfectly meet average needs.
