The new Xbox is codenamed Durango

Microsoft has announced that from now on we will have to mention the next generation Xbox console as Durango.

So far, everyone has referred to the long-awaited new series as the Xbox 720. This was created as a doubling of the number (360) in the name of the current model and tried to refer to the power of the future console. However, Microsoft says many have associated it with 720p resolution, which sheds a bad enough light on the unpublished device, as it doesn't pay to design anything under FullHD these days, and the Redmond people aim to support Blu-ray discs. The Durango has yet to be known to have a much more advanced human interface than its predecessor, as not only will Kinect be improved, but we will get a new gamepad on which the engineers will place a touch screen.
