The new ASUS X79 motherboards are pounding

ASUS has officially unveiled the X79 motherboard series, which aims to cover as many different segments as possible. Each has the new Intel X79 chipset and will of course support the second generation Core i7 processors, i.e. the Sandy Bridge-E models with LGA 2011 enclosure.

The set includes the P9X79 series, with an emphasis on performance, tuning. The fan-centric ROG Rampage IV Extreme, the exceptionally reliable TUF SABERTOOTH X79 and P9X79 support both NVIDIA 4-card SLI and AMD CrossFireX capabilities. All motherboards feature ASUS Dual Intelligent Processors 3 technology, which brings 3 new digital current controllers on board. As a result, performance, stability and, of course, tuning capabilities have further increased. In addition, they all support multi-GPU (multi-card) solutions with a PCI Express 3.0 slot. The new gems will be able to handle quite an amazing amount of memory, up to 64 GB of DDR3 memory can be loaded into a quad-channel system.

P9X79 series

With the new Digi + Power power supply, we are able to squeeze the most out of our DDR3 memory thanks to the options that allow you to change the memory voltage. DRAM capabilities have increased by 30%, making overdriving easier than ever. Thanks to the 8-DIMM design, you can use up to 64 GB of memory, which can operate in four-channel mode if you use at least four modules. Excess memory can come in handy in cases where processing large amounts of data, images and video is the main goal. Of course, additional RAM disks can be added to increase read performance and overall system performance. The ASUS SSD caching process is much more user-friendly compared to similar techniques. With this option, we can combine the speed benefits of SSDs with the huge size of traditional storage. The UEFI BIOS can earn multiple media accolades for its intuitive and easy GUI integration. In the latest version, the F12 has been given a special function, we can save a screenshot with it, and the F3 gives us a quick system summary. An important novelty is DRAM SPD which helps us to solve any memory problems that may occur. And the USB BIOS flashback finally actually allows us to update our BIOS from any USB device (this feature works even without a processor and memory, it can only perform the update when running on standby power). A BT GO 3.0! is a 3.0 device that allows (with 802.11n support) anywhere we can either act on a wireless network or create our own wi-fi hot spot. We can't complain about the included antenna, as it looks stylish and is easy to install (we have to put it in place on a magnetic basis). Of course, we get full USB 3.0 support, USB 3.0 Boost can be further increased by adding a USAP. Of course, this happens automatically as soon as the system detects a suitable 3.0 device.

ROG Rampage IV Extreme

Rampage IV Extreme supports both NVIDIA's 3.0-card SLI and AMD's CrossFireX method thanks to the new 4 PCI Express slot. We get plenty of over-pulling opportunities to stay competitive. The exclusive ROG X-Socket provides an easy transition to LGA 2011 from the previous LGA 1366 enclosure, just as processor coolers and LN2 tanks can be used seamlessly with the new board. And a useful little feature called the OC Key is that it displays the overdrive and performance of any card connected to a DVI port on the screen, regardless of any other system resources. This allows the user to change settings without the help of any external software and without slowing down the computer. ROG has also developed a system called Subzero Sense that monitors cooling temperatures. ROG Extreme Engine Digi + II and high quality 10K capacitors are responsible for high performance and long life. Of course, to have something to demonstrate with the covert performance and capabilities, we’ll get EA and Dice’s novelty, Battlefield 3, next to the page, whose Frostbite 2 engine already offers full DirectX 11 support.PR_ASUS_ROG_Rampage_IV_Extreme_Motherboard_with_OC_Key_and_Battlefield_3_Special_Edition_Box

TUF SABERTOOTH X79

The new TUF SABERTOOTH X79 follows the tradition of the series. Stability and longevity were fundamental to the design, so military-tested components and refrigeration solutions were added to the repertoire that promise outstanding system stability. The new generation TUF Thermal Armor double fans further improve cooling and air circulation to make the delivery of hot air as efficient as possible. The TUF Thermal Radar function shows us the temperature changes on a graph in real time and, of course, increases the fan speed in critical cases to avoid overheating and instability. This is made possible by 12 sensors, which the user can monitor individually. In addition, it is able to calculate the ideal speeds for the fans based on user-specified parameters to avoid hot situations as much as possible, even during the most sweaty loads. Components that close military tests with five, such as capacitors, coils, MOSFETs (insulating layer field-effect transistors), allow ASUS to offer a 5-year warranty on the SABERTOOTH X79. It also has the same DIGI + Power Control system as the P9X79 series.PR_ASUS_TUF_Series_SABERTOOTH_X79_Motherboard_with_Box

P9X79 WS

It caters to the needs of professional users, starting with the fact that it fully supports NVIDIA’s 4-card SLI solution, just like AMD CrossFireX. A better online connection is provided by the Intel LAN card with double hardware acceleration, which can reduce the CPU load on the processor by up to 70%. The P9X79 Work Station also supports Intel i7 processors and the workstation-specific Xeon family. They are also compatible with a variety of memory, operating system and RAID card types. There is a small 3-color LED on the tab, which indicates the potentially dirty performance of the board without entering the BIOS. The repertoire also includes ASUS SSD caching and USB BIOS update. The new model, of course, comes with the ARS warranty service *.

* This service is currently only available in selected Eurozones. Of course, enlargement is ongoing.PR_ASUS_P9X79_Work_Station_Series_Motherboard_with_Box_resize
