Sapphire has made drastic price cuts

Only the top category DX10 was affected by price cuts.

Presumably due to the arrival of the HD 3800 family and the sweeping of warehouses, the manufacturer decided to lower the prices of HD 2900 cards. However, before we go on a joy dance on hearing the news, it should be noted that the reduction only affects the Newegg online store. So we have the hope that the price of R600 cards will skyrocket.

The new prices:

• HD 2900 Pro 512 MB GDDR3 512 bit: $ 250 shipping
• HD 2900 XT 512 MB GDDR3 512 bit: $ 280 plus shipping
• HD 2900 Pro 1GB GDDR4 512 bit: $ 300 plus shipping
• HD 2900 XT 1GB GDDR4 512 bit: $ 340 plus shipping
