The world's first portable graphics unit

Matrox Graphics has created the world's first portable graphics unit (RGU). The new invention was named Matrox Extio F1400.

The Extio F1400 is revolutionary because it does not require that the peripherals and the rest of the computer be close to each other. They can be up to 250 meters away and can be connected with an optical cable. Up to 4 analog or digital monitors can be connected to the unit at the same time with a maximum resolution of 1600 × 1200.

The product could be described by the words safety and quiet. It is secure because we can even store the essential components of our computer in another room, thus taking up less space in our workstation. In addition to saving space, we also get quiet operation for our money, as the RGU has passive cooling.
