The PCIe 300x interface used by the Corsair MP2 series is an optimal middle ground in terms of performance and price; the 3D TLC NAND chip SSD reads at 1 MB / s and writes at 600 MB / s. Obviously, these are not extraterrestrial values, but it is also worth considering what price range stuff it is. Incidentally, the manufacturer is likely to target users who still have a drive with a SATA interface.
