Gigabyte has entered the memory market
Aorus branded memories embody the company’s first such attempt.
Aorus has not yet received an official website, yet we are already in the picture with all the important specifications. The dual-channel memory packet sweeps at 3 MHz, has a timing of CL200, and an operating voltage of 16 - so there's a lot of power under the silver heatsink. The lighting of the modules can be parameterized with the company's RGB Fusion Link software.
The Gigabyte Aorus RGB DDR4 16GB memory pack will cost $ 229 and will be available in late June. It’s a bit unusual, but it’s not exactly a bad idea for the company to include two pieces of dummy memory in stock. They do not contain memory chips, but they are all the same as the real ones. Gigabyte presumably speculates that this will improve the overall picture on motherboards with four DDR4 RAM slots.
