Lenovo and Google have entered into an agreement under which Lenovo will acquire the Motorola Mobility smartphone business. The agreement could significantly strengthen the company’s position in the smartphone market.In the space of a week, Lenovo is already making its second big deal: the Chinese giant announced last week that it would buy part of IBM's server business for $ 2,3 billion. 

Google bought its mobile phone division, Motorola Mobility, from Motorola two years ago. The deal didn’t cost two pennies, they paid exactly $ 12,4 billion for it, but the move didn’t live up to expectations and caused a serious headache for the software maker.
