SonyEricsson graduated with Symbian

A spokesman for the company announced that no Symbian-based device is planned in the near future.

Sony Ericsson spokesman Aldo Liguori has announced that the company has no plans to produce Symbian-based devices in the near future. From now on, they will primarily use Google’s Android operating system on their smartphones. When asked whether they had permanently broken with the operating system developed by Nokia, the answer was that the possibility of a later collaboration could not be ruled out.

More and more manufacturers are turning their backs on Nokia and breaking with Symbian, which is still the highest percentage of systems currently used on mobile phones in the world. Some have turned to Android, such as Motorola and Samsung, but the Korean company has also developed its own (Bada) operating system.
