Intel says Barcelona is ready to commit suicide

The only problem with the native quad-core structure.

AMD is not in an easy position as they have cut their ax into heavy wood with their new quad-core processor. The rather complicated K10 chip is already beyond a number of redesigns, and the manufacturer is still struggling to raise the clock speeds. This is not the first time in the IT industry that a product is delayed due to ongoing problems. Sooner or later, however, the bugs were only fixed, and thus the long-awaited appearance.

Intel says Barcelona is ready to commit suicide
It's not that hilarious

The biggest problem is the time lost during the postponement. Time is money, everyone knows that. In the present case, Intel is constantly moving forward on its planned route, announcing its latest processors one after the other, while AMD is working on the release of a powerful K10. Best of all, Intel doesn't even force itself, they think the double-core Penryn wired at 45nm is also enough against the K10, whose clocks can loosely exceed the 3GHz limit. According to their own confession, they already knew this well in advance. We think only now, because of AMD getting into the pit, they have a big mouth, obviously wanting to encourage as many insecure users as possible to buy an Intel processor.
In any case, we are already looking forward to the K10, we hope to be able to serve a few surprises for entrenched Intel fanatics as well. You need competition, even if you are suicidal!
