Perhaps everyone still remembers that a few years ago, experts predicted that sales of laptops would break forward at the expense of desktops. There was no need for great fortune-telling, and no doubt the crystal ball didn’t wear much either, as it was seen that the performance of the portable machines was dangerously close to that of the average desktop PC.

True, the goods are still higher than them - in terms of similar performance - but portable machines have a lot of advantages, if nothing else, look at how portable they are. Of course, we can also mention that they are quiet and also that they fit in a smaller space.

Well, ASUS was in the right place at the right time, and they managed to catch the growing wave in time, riding on their backs, they’re showing new machines more and more often these days. If that weren’t enough, it’s also worth mentioning that their name is associated with the spread of a new category, namely the concept of Netbook. Now, however, we are not talking about the smallest ones. In the person of the ASUS K70IO, we came to one of the champions of the middle category. We hope that ASUS employees will not be offended that we do not classify their machine in the upper category, but we are forced to do so. The reason for this is nothing but the price of the device (we don't want to shoot the joke yet, you can find it at the end of the article), as it winks towards high-end products based on its performance and capabilities.
