Xiaomi is the fastest growing phone maker

If you use a Xiaomi phone you will not be surprised by this.

A few days ago, Chinese television reported that in 2017, Xiaomi was the fastest growing phone maker. This is a very serious achievement that cannot be achieved without serious investment and innovation. Although Xiaomi’s phones have been strengthening the camp of cheap but quality mobiles for a long time, the turning point was definitely the introduction of the Xiaomi Mi MIX, and perhaps this phone shows the real face of the Xiaomi the most.

The Xiaomi Mi MIX was the first successful full-screen smartphone on the market, and its appearance launched a new trend. After the presentation, each manufacturer had to rethink their strategy and be able to throw out their plans. The new design brought a really pioneering look, and even the biggest manufacturers had to adapt to it, it was the first time the big ones were forced to adapt to a Chinese company.

The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 debuted on the day Apple announced the iPhone X, which was certainly a deliberate timing. This was a clear signal from Xiaomi that it showed that the company’s ambitions are much higher than its current market positions. While iPhone enthusiasts expected the best frameless smartphone in the X, the Xiaomi has overtaken the American apple maker with the MIX 2 in most capabilities.

The Xiaomi Mi MIX and MIX 2 are not just phones, they are works of art. Both devices were designed by Philippe Starck, one of today’s busiest industrial designers, so it’s no wonder they were also entered with his design for the second run. The success of the phones, the elaboration of the design, is well illustrated by the fact that both have been included in the collection of the Georges Pompidou National Center for Arts and Culture in Paris.
