When developing smart bracelets, manufacturers need to focus on different features and new capabilities because they can no longer carve much on the outside. Size and shape are difficult to change, so it is also slowly a problem to differentiate products from different manufacturers on the basis of appearance.
Huawei's solutions offer a special feature in that some of their models can be attached to our shoes or feet, thus providing more accurate measurement results. However, Xiaomi seems to be taking a different path, preferring to improve the range of services available. The birds are chirping that Mi Band 5 will already be able to measure blood oxygen levels, but we’ve also heard that it will also help monitor menstrual cycles.
We don't have too much information about hardware yet. What is already certain is that the display will increase from the previous 0,95 inches to 1,2 inches, along with a decrease in the thickness of the frame. There is no concrete info yet about something like the hole in the spy photo that hides the self-camera of the phones, many people believe that there will indeed be a camera here.
What is certain, however, is that there will also be NFC in the international version. This has so far only been available for the Chinese versions. It is not yet known whether NFC will be able to pay, or just as with older versions, for example, we can open doors with NFC. The other important, more software change is that the global version of the bracelet will also be able to control your smart home. We would have been happier if, along with this news, it had also been announced that Xiaoai, that is, Xiaomi’s assistant service, was learning English, but that was not the case. The international version of Amazon gets Alexa support. There will be a microphone in it, but no speaker, so we can talk to Alexa, but she will only answer in writing.
