Tranquil's new, stylish media center: The MMC-12

British manufacturer Tranquil has pulled the veil off the MMC-12, its latest media center computer.

Tranquil's new, stylish media center: The MMC-12

The MMC-12 is a new exterior-packed computer that looks like a desktop player at first glance. The house itself was constructed of a block of metal and a matte, satin-patterned surface finish completed the minimalist look. There is only one power button and optical drive on the front.

The 1,5-inch high housing comes with an Intel i3 / i5 / i7 “Sandy Bridge” processor as desired by the customer. The type of optical drive mentioned above can also be a conventional DVD or Blu-Ray reader according to the customer's needs. Unfortunately, Tranquil did not provide any specifications other than this data, so we do not yet have information on the graphics unit, outputs, and other details.

So it’s hard to predict anything about the MMC-12 based on so little data, but it certainly gives confidence that Tranquil’s previous devices for similar purposes have been a huge success among the target audience.
